memories 2-7, skill 1
Game: Jorgi's Game
Memory: FOLLOW THE FUCKING SPIDERS (ch 15: aragogg (p2))
Number: 2
Received: Day 320
Form: Memories come in the form of a walnut-sized blue glass ball. (1/1)
What it means: In short this memory gave him back his phobia of spiders instantly and because it was giant man-eating spiders it's more or less... amplified. Also the knowledge that there is murder happening in school and spiders trying to eat him made him NOPE.JPG out of memories for a few days.
Game: Cottontail's Game
Memory: THERE'S A TROLL IN THE DUNGEON (ch 10: halloween)
Number: 3
Received: Day 321
Form: Memories come in the form of, naturally, a brightly colored egg that splits down the middle. (1/2)
What it means: Being smug that Malfoy got caught and is upset Harry gets a broomstick at school forever. Most importantly this is the day where Ron gets annoyed at Hermione's nagging in class. This, in turn, gets him to talk about how she's a nightmare to the boys in their year and Hermione overhears. So when a troll ends up in the school he and Harry go to find/save her. This comes up to a discomfort/guilt at accidentally hurting people and a knowledge he will play the hero even if he knows it's a dumb idea... (especially if it's his fault but shh)
Game: Dream's Heart Games
Memory: Midnight Duel with Malfoy is interrupted (ch 9: midnight duel)
Number: 4
Received: Day ???
Form: a rose made out of edible gold flakes, eat a petal to receive the memory, four uses. (1/4)
What it means: His last memory will have some context as to why Malfoy was mad they were still in school. This is mostly a memory of classes though! And Harry beating Malfoy in flying class and becoming a seeker... And then they almost get eaten by a three-headed dog with Neville and Hermione because they got lost to a duel. What this gives Ron is +500 more hate towards Malfoy. Random knowledge about the wizarding world and Hermione being mental. He also knows a little more how deep his loyalty lies. Lastly, some memory of Percy and apparently how he's a prefect who will get them in trouble and the twins teasing Harry about potentially dying.
Game: Mad Hatter's Game
Skill: O.W.L. level of magic
Number: 1
Received: Day 324
Form: A really really sour jawbreaker. You need to get to the center of it to get the skill. (1/1)
What it means:...He'll have magic that he sort-of can't use. And by that I mean it can react to his emotions but he knows... maybe 6 spells. And some of those he doesn't even know what they do.
Game: Queen Guinevere's Game
Memory: Beating Hermione at Chess (ch 13: nicolas flamel (p1))
Number: 5
Received: Day 329
Form: The memory form is a pair of gloves; to view the memory, you must put them on and hold hands with two other people. All three of you will see the memory. (0/1??)
What it means:Slight knowledge on Harry running around at night despite his and Dumbledore's advice. Playing chess against Hermione and winning but then getting side-tracked by Harry's problems. Being the best friend who suggests breaking his leg not to play in a quidditch match! But this also is the first part of his first memory so now his and Hermione's anxiety makes sense. He tells Neville to stick up for himself, which makes his first memory more important... He and the other two learn about Nicolas Flamel but that's not really important to him right now.
The most important parts is (even jokingly) the knowledge that he suggests harmful sacrifices to keep even worse things from happening which will have more of an effect later. Also how he is blunt and just no you should always stick up for yourself and your beliefs. Always.
Game: Baker's Game's Game
Memory: Getting bit by a dragon (ch 10: halloween)
Number: 6
Received: Day 330
Form: You receive one loaf of bread, sliced into five pieces! (1/5)
What it means: Ew school exams. He also gets about +100 on random wizarding knowledge about dragons... And Hagrid is insane for keeping dragons and thinking he's their mommy. Also important knowledge on that they're hiding the Philosopher's Stone underneath Fluffy (Hagrid's three-headed dog that tried to EAT THEM) and other various tasks. The kids think Snape is trying to steal it (because he's evil). He will actually remember a lot about his brother Charlie and writing/receiving letters from him! Family dere!
Then he gets bitten by a dragon and ends up in the hospital wing. SO...
Game: Mira's Game
Memory: Chess Match (ch 16: through the trapdoor (p2 or maybe 3))
Number: 7
Received: Day 331
Form: Memories come in the form of gold rings (1/3)
What it means: Oh, look he's not nearly getting eaten by a creeper for once :u. He's going to have to guess this is trial that Hagrid mentioned, mostly because he directly says they're trying to stop Snape from getting the stone. But why do they need to??? This memory is the one of him leading an entire chess game that will be known as the best one the school had seen in a long time. SO IT'S PRETTY IMPRESSIVE. But what he will mostly get out of it is: One, a love for chess... But also this leads back into the "really break your leg!" memory with Harry where he understands sacrifices are necessary and must be done. It also shows how he is unwilling to put his friends in danger if he can help it, but will take everything on himself... Thus getting knocked unconscious so they can win the game /o/
Also that even when he's afraid he can keep his wits about him and keep fighting. For Ron this just amplifies how he's been approaching Aather's games by A LOT. And will make him just a little more confident/smug. Which is good.
